In short, yes! Whirlpool baths come in all shapes and sizes and can be custom fit to your exact requirements. We specialise in bespoke – contact our team to discuss. Additionally, we also offer baths from stock – crafted at Carron’s UK factory. Click here for more information.
Whirlpool baths have a reassuring weight to them. And Carron has taken this into account, providing a sturdy base for the solid support of your whirlpool bath. The benefit of this weight is the retention of heat – reducing the energy required to keep your bathwater comfortably warm for longer.
We do recommend this, and the electric supply must be fitted with a dedicated circuit breaker. Our team can discuss this with you in more detail. Get in touch here.
Before fitting, you can access all parts of your whirlpool bath or spa system. We strongly recommend that baths that are to be sunk or tiled into a bathroom should have access panels fitted for the ease of future maintenance or repair.
Because wellbeing needs differ from person to person, we offer complete customisation in our whirlpool baths. So, depending on preferred pressure, you can choose the number of jets your whirlpool bath comes with. The result being access to a tailored massage, at home, any time you like.
Yes – our whirlpool bath product range includes double ended whirlpool baths, corner whirlpool baths, single ended whirlpool baths, whirlpool shower baths, inset whirlpool baths, and freestanding whirlpool baths – all with different depths. We seek to promote inclusivity, and believe that everyone should have access to the benefits of a whirlpool bath. Contact our team to discuss your individual requirements.
Yes – customisation is our speciality. We allow bathers access to a seamless control panel, which changes the jet pressure, as well as lighting and sound via Bluetooth if you opt to include. This means every whirlpool experience is bespoke, every time.
Absolutely – our chromotherapy lighting package allows for the addition of 1, 2 or 3 up to 4 LED lights, which gently illuminate the rippling water to offer ultimate relaxation.
To keep your whirlpool in good working order, we recommend that you clean it every 2 – 3 weeks using a whirlpool bath and spa cleaner. This will ensure that your pipework and jets are kept clean and fresh.
By cleaning your whirlpool bath every 2-3 weeks, you will prevent the appearance of biofilm/organic matter.
Yes, we guarantee our baths, whirlpool, and spa products for 5 years against manufacturing defects. Full warranty details can be found here.
No – it serves no real purpose, as most people fill their baths to 38-42 degrees centigrade as a matter of course, for which your hot water supply is designed to do. For a whirlpool bath heater to meet legal requirements, it should have a maximum setting of 42 degrees plus an overheat manual reset by a service engineer to prevent scolding. Scolding starts at 44 degrees centigrade.
Typically, a good quality acrylic bath will only lose 1 degree centigrade of heat in 30 minutes so most whirlpool heaters are never called upon to work – and if they do, will only raise water temperature by 1-2 degrees an hour depending on size but typically 1-1.5 kW.
Not necessarily – but as with most options associated with a whirlpool bath, it’s entirely preference based. It’s important to note here though that it’s not an absolute requirement for a whirlpool and in many cases, people prefer their bath without – saving energy and money in the process.
Yes, we supply products from only the highest quality manufacturers of whirlpool baths and jets – Carron and C-Lenda. Plus, we build our whirlpools to BS EN 12764:2004 + A1:2008 British Standards for Whirlpool Baths.
While we’ve mentioned chromotherapy lighting, and Bluetooth speakers, plus custom jet formations, the way your whirlpool bath is designed is entirely down to you. Our team will guide you through the process to make sure your bath supports wellbeing in the way that works for you, your family, or your guests best.
